Christmas Canapés Recipe

CHRISTMAS TAPAS

 

 

 

 


I LOVE Christmas, it is always such a cosy part of the year where you can snuggle down with firelight and candlelight. It is always a great excuse for me to get in the kitchen. I found this recipe from all about Christmas tapas - a great treat for new guests at Christmas. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 baguette or ciabatta bread
  •  3 tbso. Nicolas Vahé Olive Oil / Garlic
  •  Fresh thyme
  •  Nicolas Vahé Salt & Pepper / Everyday Mix
  •  Tapa topping #1:
  •  Roast beef
  •  Finely sliced red onions
  •  Fresh tarragon leaves
  •  Tapas topping #2:
  •  Smoked halibut
  •  Nicolas Vahé Mustard / Curry and Coconut
  •  Greenlandic shrimps
  •  Fresh chives
  •  Tapas topping #3:
  •  Nicolas Vahé Appetizer / Seleriac & Apple
  •  Goat's Cheese
  •  Fresh and finely sliced radish, apple and seleriac

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 170 °C. Sprinkle the breads with Nicolas Vahé Olive Oil with Garlic. Sprinkle with finely chopped thyme and freshly ground Nicolas Vahé Everyday Mix. Bake at 170 °C for 15 minutes. Cut the bread into thin slices and place them on a piece of baking paper. Decorate with your favourite toppings or try one of Nicolas Vahé's specialties. Serve right away.
